Welcome to Financial Literacy Nepal

It was established on 3 August 2022 as a non-profit distributing company under the Company Act, 2006 at the initiative of Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal, the former Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Nepal). Dr. Nepal also served as the Economic Expert of the Rt. Honorable President of Nepal.

Key founders of the company include former/incumbent: senior officials of Nepal Rastra Bank, Security Board of Nepal, rating agency, commercial banks, insurance company, Chartered Accountancy firms, training institute, law firm and media having a long career in the financial sector.

It is a tax-exempt entity.
